"Jennifer, Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your highly informative on-line store. It's obvious that you're a caring person wanting to help others. Thank you so much for offering the samples. It's so much harder finding colors when going the natural route, and the samples are so great to have. I have ordered from you before and am always happy with the result. Thanks again and God bless,
Sarah"

Lips Q&A

Here are questions regarding how to apply lipstick, and lip liner..  Enjoy!

LIPSTICK APPLICATIONS

WISH A SHADE WERE JUST A LITTLE LIGHTER, DARKER, COOLER OR WARMER?
Why not try blending shades! Here is a trick I learned a few years ago. Let's say you have the lipstick RP Copper and you want to add some pizzazz to it. Try adding one or more of these to it?

Set #1
Base: RP Copper. Now add any one of these: LN Sunny Day, RP pink blossom, RP Purple Passion, RP Bronze Cloud. Bronze Cloud could be substituted for RP Pearl Mocha or LN Cool River. Its meant to lighten down the looks

Set #2
What about mixing any two of these: LN Wave, SN Shiny Red, LN Rain, LN Cool River. You can also substitute these colors for those better for you or in other brands.

Set #1
Base: RP Copper. Now add RP Romantic Red, RP Purple Passion or Bronze Cloud. Combine them for an assortment of terrific looks.

HOW DO YOU DECIDE ON COLORS THAT CAN ADJUST OTHER SHADES?
Sante has a shiny blue lipstick, which when applied lightly, can add a cool tone to a warm lipstick. You can use a color like Sante Shiny Beige, which has strong yellow tones, to warm a lipstick up that is to cool. Sante Terra is more like a beige, and that is a neutral shade. So it may be nice to have to lighten other shades down without actually changing the hue. Obviously, colors like Sante Brown or Shiny Mauve are on the dark ends, and would be suitable if you want to darken a shade up with those tones. Mixing can be fun and offer you many advantages. These are just suggestions, but it can help you get started. Any brand will work!

I WEAR GLASSES, HOW SHOULD I CHOOSE MY LIPSTICK?
Since your glasses draw attention to your eyes, balance things out by choosing a lip color that coordinates with the color of the frames. One that is of a comparable intensity.

LIP LINER USES AND TIPS

COLOR CLASS TIPS?
Three reasons to use a lip liner: Lip liners make the difference between just OK and luscious lips. Here's why:

1. Lip liner can give you the lips you've always wanted. A stroke of the pencil can reshape your mouth. For a fuller pout, start at the center of the upper lip and make a thick line along the bow. Then taper off to a faint line at the corners. To play down lips that are full, draw a thin, even line just inside the border. Fill in with lipstick.

2. Lip liners provide strong color and help keep lipstick from bleeding into fine lines around the mouth.

3. Lip liner can help your color last. Line your mouth then press the side of the pencil against lips, fill them in with color. Using a brush, top with lipstick.

ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO SEE YOUR LIP LINER WHEN WEARING LIPSTICK?
No. Remove your lipstick and start over! Now, use a lip liner pencil that is close to either the color your lips are, or the color of your lipstick. Blend the line with a lip brush before applying your lipstick. Then go back over your lips with the brush to make sure the color extends all the way to the edge and into the corners of your mouth. I do want to add that some people do like wearing a darker liner, but we advice being careful to just how dark you go with.
