Where did they get their start?
The origins of the NVEY brand dates back to 1958 when Helene Abicair founded the acclaimed Melbourne beauty therapy college. From an early age Abicair?s son, Rohan Widdison, was entrenched in the cosmetic industry and grew to understand the importance of high performance product formulations. Fast forward to 1999 when Widdison started researching the development and production of an organic cosmetic range and NVEY ECO was born!

Is Nvey Eco tested on animals?
ECO comes with a guarantee that the brand is not tested on animals at any stage of development.

Are the Nvey products pretty consistent from one batch to the next?
All Nvey products are stringently and extensively tested to ensure premium performance in terms of both application and hold factor.

Safflower Oil (Carthamus Tinctorius) From the safflower plant, safflower oil increases the moisture content of the skin and heals and softens dry skin.     Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Palmitate) Renowned as a powerful antioxidant, Vitamin C helps protect skin from harmful free radicals. Vitamin C revives, replenishes, protects, and preserves the complexion.     Sweet Almond Oil From the nut kernels of the Almond, this light oil nourishes, protects and balances the skin. Sweet Almond Oil relieves irritation and is suitable for all skin types.     Vitamin A (Carrot Oil) Rich in minerals, Retinol and beta-carotene , Carrot oil prevents damage and premature ageing. It promotes self-restoration of skin tissues and smoothes and tones the skin.     Vitamin B5 (D Panthenol ) D Panthenol is the provitamin of Vitamin B5. It strengthens and improves the condition of hair and improves the moisture-retention capacity of the skin.	Natural Beeswax (Cera Alba) Containing fatty acids, minerals and Vitamin A, Beeswax is rich in glucose to provide the skin with energy, protection and a soft, supple texture.     Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis) Renowned for its gentle calming and soothing properties, Chamomile stimulates tissue repair and is ideal for use on sensitive skin and around the eyes.     Natural Vitamin E (D-alpha Tocopherol) Produced exclusively from plants, Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the skin from the harmful effects of pollution and extreme weather.     Jojoba Oil ( Jojoba Ester) Jojoba is a woody evergreen desert shrub. The oil extracted from the Jojoba plant mimics the skin's natural protection and moisturisation mechanism.     Rosa Absolute (Rosa centifolia) Extracted from fresh rose petals, Rose Absolute assists with the relief of, dry and sensitive skin, wrinkles and eczema. No they do not.

DOES NVEY ECO USE PEANUT OIL IN THEIR PRODUCTS?
NVEY ECO does not have any peanut oils in the products.

WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF VITAMIN E, AND IS THE PRODUCT GLUTEN FREE?
Sarah, the importer for Nvey Eco, says, "We do not make the claim on being gluten free – our primary source for Vitamin E is typically soybeans, not wheat, barley or rye, but again, we do not have certification for gluten free, nor do we make any claim towards that as well."

WHAT KIND OF COLORANTS DOES NVEY ECO USE?
You will notice that at the bottom of most of the products you will see a “may contain” with CI ingredients – These are used for colorant (and are usually a combination of mica, iron dioxides and titanium dioxides). The amount used is very small, and obviously the amount will very depending on the color of the actual product.

ARE THESE NUMBERS ON THE BOX THE EXPIRATION DATES?
Yes, they are expiration dates – all dates however are in European format day – month – year. These are sell by dates, and the products are good for a minimum of two years once opened.
