For Medium
Brown to Blonde Hair. Tints of Nature is the first ammonia free
Conditioning Permanent Lightener. Using a naturally derived soya,
coconut and palm oil blend to protect the scalp during the Lightening
process. Lightens up to 6 levels from natural hair color. Why would you use this kit?
If you have dark hair and you want to colour it a lighter shade, you
would need to use this kit first over the hair you want to lighten. Then
after you process it, you would have to color over that hair with the
lighter permanent hair dye. This product has 40 volume activator which
helps lift the hair 3 shades. This means that this product can be useful
when wanting to put red highlights in your hair over black or dark
brown hair. It comes with a protective oil to prevent hair damage. This kit lifts the hair up more compared to the Highlight Kit.
How would you accomplish this?
If your hair is colored black or dk brown all over: You would use the
cap which comes with the hair kit, and pull out the hair strands that
you'd like to turn red. Apply the permanent highlight product over that
hair and process. Then you will put the Red permanent hair dye over
your entire hair. Since it is not as dark as the Black or Dk Brown, the
red will not lift it. It will deposit over the lightened hair. Thus you
will be able to have highlights of red! What if my hair is too yellow?
This can be caused by an under-developed lightener, or the base is too
dark. We have customers with dark brown to black hair that have used the
kit and they have not experienced this. You may want to consider the
Lightener Kit because the volume activator is 40 volume.
What if my hair ends up being too red? It will be because your hair is under-lightened. Take a strand test and re-lighten.
How do I prevent an uneven color?
You want to make sure that you apply it properly. Mix the product well
so their is no lumps in it. Make sure if your hair is thick or long, you
have enough product. Purchasing a second kit may be needed.
How can I prevent damaged or broken hair?
Leaving the mixture on the hair too long can do this. Always complete
your personal development time when taking a strand test and use the
guide during application. See instructions tab. Damaged and broken hair
can also occur if you reapply product to previously lightened hair. To
avoid this, take another strand test before re-applying any more
product. Also avoid using heat and follow instructions in kit.
