Here are our selections for Natural
Mascara. Mascara comes in two basic types: waterproof and water-soluble. We don't offer
the waterproof type here because it requires more raw materials than what our
clients would prefer. That would also mean adding synthetics, which we do not
feel is warranted in this case. Some wonder if they can extend the longevity of
their mascara. A practical suggestion is not to over pump the wand into the
tube. All that really does is pump more air into the tube which makes the
mascara dry up faster. Some ask me how they can stop their lashes from breaking
off. I'd suggest not using too much mascara. It can weigh the lash down and
that certainly will break them. Lashes gunked up with tons of mascara doesn't
resemble long, thick lashes either. So go easy on your mascara and let your
friends see your eyes, not your lashes!

There are no sample sizes available for this category. Please read our policies under Customer Service Desk as
not all items are returnable. Every person's skin is unique, and as
with all cosmetics we recommend that a person apply a small amount of
the product to the inner wrist for 1-2 days before applying elsewhere to
ensure comfort and compatibility. We encourage everyone to read the
ingredient labels carefully to avoid allergens.
Please
note that natural mascaras are not waterproof.
Companies use plastics and high alcohol content to
achieve
this effect. We do not offer natural mascara
products
that use such ingredients. Due to body types and
temperature, some who purchase a natural mascara
could find
that it flakes or smears. But not all the time or we
wouldn't sell so much and have such great reorders.
But keep this in mind as the manufacturers do not
take
returns based on these factors. Only defects. So
help us
help you. If you do have a problem, if its a
defective (the
product packaging, it went off or something like
that) let
us know. If it just doesn't wear how you'd prefer,
please
understand our hands are tied. We could offer you
something
else however to ease the pain.
MASCARA USES AND TIPS
How to Use: Open the Natural mascara
by
twisting the cap and pulling the wand. Do not pump
the wand
as it puts air into the tube and it can dry the
product out
inside. Apply it on the bottom lash starting on the
inside
corner and moving outwards. Sweep the brush lightly
across
your lashes. If you start with the top lash you will
end up
with brush strokes on the lid as you apply product
to the
bottom lash. When doing the top lash, hold your
eyelid
steady. Start by applying to the inside corner,
moving
outward. Move the brush from side to side in a
gentle
motion. You will go from root to tip. This is the
best way
to separate the lashes. To avoid clumping, wait 30
seconds
before applying second coat.
When to Replace It: You'll want
to replace your Natural mascara at least every 3 to 4
months. Do not
reuse mascara after an eye infection. Be cautious
when
having a sty on the eyelid. Do not leave mascara in
hot car
or in unclean bags.
TIPS FOR APPLYING MASCARA
Don't
hold the wand stationary when applying mascara. Instead, roll it along your
lashes from the roots to the tips, to deposit the mascara evenly and help
prevent clumping. To remove smudges, wind a piece of tissue tightly and hold it
under your lower lashes while applying your mascara. Or you can use a cotton
swab dipped in eye makeup remover to remove smudges. To stretch your mascara
out and prevent drying, don't dip the mascara wand unnecessarily into the tube.
You also want to avoid pumping the wand; instead, always twist to coat. Remove
mascara and all other eye makeup before going to bed. Use your eye makeup
remover, gently massage a small amount over your lid and lashes. Wait about 30
seconds, then gently whisk off eye makeup using a cotton ball. If using our
liquid makeup remover, apply it with a cotton ball. For extra lush-looking
lashes, apply two coats of mascara. Use an eyelash comb to separate lashes
after each coat.
HOW DO I STOP MY LASHES FROM
CLUMPING WHEN I USE MASCARA?
Use a
fine-toothed eyelash comb to separate lashes before your mascara has a chance
to dry.
CAN YOU USE MORE THAN ONE COLOR OF MASCARA AT A TIME?
Sure!
Sometimes when I want to make my lashes appear longer, I'll use a brown/sable
color first, then tip the lashes with black.
