Unlike other skincare companies that call themselves natural, Brigit True Organics combines wholesome ingredients in a full line of luxuriant, nurturing soaps, creams, and balms. For maximum support and protection of delicate skin, BTO uses organic Mediterranean olive oil, pure aromatherapeutic essential oils, and certified organic herbs.  BTO never resorts to mineral oil, fillers, artificial scents, synthetic preservatives, or chemical colorings. Balms and creams are made with BTO's own macerated herbal oils, and contain a very high percentage of healing herbs. In fact, BTO uses food grade ingredients wherever possible, making all our products edible (but save them for your skin!)

Much of the line's appeal is its purity.  It embrases organic materials including food-grade olive oil, herbs such as calendula, lavender, and sage, and natural extracts. All of their products are vegetarian and many are vegan, using candelilla wax in place of bee's wax, and excluding ingredients like goat's milk. They avoid known allergens such as peanut oil.
