FLORESTAS ORGANIC BOTANICAL
ECOCERT have
worked to develop the first Organic and Ecological Cosmetics
specifications, which were registered with the French
Ministry of Industry in 2002. It is an international
inspection and certification body, accredited to verify the
conformity of organic products according to organic
regulations of Europe, Japan and the USA to ensure that what
is claimed to be natural/organic is really natural and
organic. All certified products, like IKOVE, must contain
only allowed plant ingredients such as plant oils, fats and
waxes, herbal extracts and essential oils from certified
organic plants. All Florestas final products are
certified organic by ECOCERT, France.

trans-retinoic acid, which assists in rejuvenating
body cells. It is great for revitalizing both skin and
hair. Blended to 1% natural tocopherol (Vitamin

DIRECTIONS: Apply to
facial skin, especially on fine lines and wrinkles.
Blend the diluted oil with other oils for a body
massage, or apply to hair for a revitalizing treatment.

Sweet Almond Oil
Florestas Base Oils act
as a moisturizer, leaving skin soft and silky. They
are great for use in aromatherapy, massage and as a
bath oil.
Sweet Almond oil is
non-greasy, spreads easily, and provides nourishment
for the skin. It is a delightful moisturizer that is
suitable for all skin types.
No synthetic colours and fragrances. No
unnecessary chemicals or mineral oil. No animal
ingredients. Florestas is against animal testing. Blended to 1% natural tocopherol
(Vitamin E) to help retain potency and life.
How to Use: Apply
to skin as massage oil, blend with a few drops of
essential oil for aromatherapy, or put a few drops in
your bath.

Vegetable Glycerine
Starwest Certified
Kosher Vegetable Glycerine is an amazing product whose
unique combination of properties have made it useful
in a wide variety of applications. It is a clear,
colorless, thick liquid with a naturally sweet taste.
100% food grade, vegetable glycerine is derived from
palm oil by the process of hydrogenolysis, which
removes the fatty acids, leaving pure vegetable
glycerine. Metabolized in the body like a
carbohydrate, it is easily digested, and its warm
sweet taste makes it an excellent substitute for
sugar. It is extensively used in the preparation of
coffee and tea flavors, and as an ingredient in soft
drinks.
Glycerine is also used as a humectant, a penetrant,
and a softening agent. An effective ingredient in
massage preparations, glycerine provides a soothing
effect, making the skin supple, while offering a
protective action. The emollient and lubricating
properties make it very effective for dry and scaly
skin. It can be also used as an agent in cosmetics,
toothpaste, shampoos, soaps, herbal remedies,
pharmaceuticals and other household items. It also
acts as a solvent in extracting botanical properties
from plant materials (without the use of alcohol).

Standards |
We don’t use any kind of synthetic
fragrances or colours and products are
designed to maintain a normal pH balance to
minimize the potential for any skin
irritation and maximize the beauty and
healthy effects in your body and soul.
Florestas is certified by EcoCert. The
following ingredients are absolutely
forbidden by ECOCERT:
-Synthetic fragrances and dyes
-Silicones and glycol
-Petro-chemical and mineral oil
-Parabens
-Animal ingredients or animal testing
Even if the product has all natural
ingredients in its composition, certain
processes used to manufacture cosmetics can
transform raw
material in a chemically aggressive one. For
example, some herbs have to be irradiated to
eliminate impurities and during this process
they are modified and may become as harmful
to your skin. Also the raw material maybe
GMO. Therefore, to be certified we have to
comply with manufacturing
specifications as well to ensure our
cosmetics keep their true organic
properties. Without internationally
recognized third party
certification, the organic claim that
appears in many products means nothing. To
