It is citrus, woodsy.  Its aromatic benefits are: balancing, calming, cheering, normalizing, stimulating, uplifting.  It blends well with basil, carrot, cedarwood, chamomile, citronella, clary sage, clove, coriander, cypress, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, hyssop, jasmine, juniper, lemon, mandarine, marjoram, neroli, patchouli, peppermint, rose, sage, sandalwood, spearmint, tangerine, thyme, vanilla and ylang ylang.

It has a sweet, spicy-hot fragrance. The hotter, more expensive bark is comprised of 40-50% cinnamaldehyde and 4-10% eugenol. Its reddish-brown. The leaf is 3% cinnamaldehyde and 70-90% eugenol. We have both available. Cinnamon Bark can be ordered. It is noted to help stop menstrual cramps, indigestion, diarrhea, and genital and urinary infections. It increases sweating, and creates heat when used in a liniment. The smell relieves tension, steadies nerves and is invigorating. Both bark and leaf oils can irritate mucous membranes, but the bark oil is more hazardous. Use sparingly. Dermal irritant. Associated oils are Cassia, Ceylon Cinnamon, Camphor and Borneo Camphor.

Its powerful, spicy and hot. It relieves toothaches, flu, sore muscles, arthritis, colds and bronchial congestion. It destroys intestinal parasites and is a good addition to a heating liniment. Cosmetically it is an antiseptic and antifungal. Diluted oil may be dabbed on scabies or athlete's foot. Small doses are stimulating, helping to overcome nervousness, mental fatigue or poor memory. It can be irritating to the skin and mucous membranes, so use it in 1% dilution or less.

Distinctively sharp and citrus. Its an antioxidant, preservative and antiseptic. It helps counter viral and bacterial infections. It treats hypertension with high blood pressure, congested lymph glands and liver, excessive stomach activity and the immune system. A very unique and treasured oil. It was so popular at one time in French Guiana, that the people cut all the trees down.  Hopefully lessons have been learned from that and history won't repeat itself. Essential Oil

Professional aromatherapy. Contains true essential oil of Styrax benzoin.  Country of Origin: Sumatra.

This thick orange brown oil has a deep rich, sweet vanilla like aroma and has been used for centuries as a component in "Friars Balsam'.  Benzoin has traditionally been found to help maintain effective respiration as well as keeping skin smooth and vital.  The 'warming' qualities of benzoin can help to balance and promote relaxation.

Store in cool dark place. Do not apply undiluted to skin.  Keep away from children and eyes.  Not be taken internally.  Flammable.

TO USE: 4-5 drops in bath.  4-5 drops on a tissue/vaporiser.  15 drops in 50ml carrier.
