Here are some trouble shooting steps you can consider the next time you shave with a shaver:
1) Let your skin be wet for a couple of minutes. For guys, why not start to shave in the shower instead of over the sink? Skin that isn't moist enough will certainly become irritated. 2) Use a good razor. For you men, that isn't going into the shower and getting your wife's! No single type of shaver works well for everyone, so experiment with different blade types till you find what works for you. Dull razors make for poor shaving results! 3) Use a more emollient shaving product for the legs and men, if you have dry skin, do the same for the face. 4) Avoid shaving products that contain irritants. Use a natural formula that avoids unneeded alcohols and synthetic fragrances. 5) If you run out of your shaving product, grab the hair conditioner instead of the bar of soap. 6) Never use a loofah or washcloth on your face or legs after shaving to avoid irritation to the skin. How Best To Use Shaving Creams
For best results,
shave while or after showering. Take a
small portion of shaving cream and apply to
the skin making sure it's not to thick.
When shaving, shave in the direction of the
hair growth. Shaving against the grain
can cause ingrown hair. Make sure that
you rinse the razor often to keep a close
shave. For some, they may want to
reapply to get an even closer shave.
