We are committed to working with the farmers and wildcrafters of
India. We are a privately held company supporting USA jobs in a rural
part of Florida. We have 19 employees and a thriving organic community
garden.
Organix-South’s co-owned organic farm is called Umbari farm. Our
partner’s in India are the well respected Nisarga Biotech. Nisarga means Nature. We are
certified organic by the internationally recognized ECO CERT. Umbari
farm is located south of Pune.
Organix-South® and Nisarga pay over 10% the market value for all
herbs coming from Vita and Umbari farms and from the surrounding organic
farmers.
We promote sustainability for future generations by paying for the
certification process for those farmers in India that are willing to
convert to organic farming.
