Why is Natural Solutions Offering This Product We
are offering this item because we sell so much hair color from SanoTint
and Tints of Nature, as well as Logona and Light Mountain. These "At Home" Haircolor Kits need the support of
products like this to help customers achieve successful color
applications. Our
customers who choose to purchase "At Home" Hair Color also have more
sensitivities than others, so they do not typically go to salons for
services. We feel that this is an outreach to help these clients for
sure. If you have questions, please contact Customer Service at Natural
Solutions and we will gladly assist.

Questions and Answers:
What is Disodium EDTA? Disodium EDTA is valued for its ability to bind to minerals like metals. It is used in cosmetic formulations as a stabilizer. In cosmetics, disodium EDTA is a chelating agent. A chelating agent binds
with metallic compounds or metal irons. This binding prevents them from
adhering to skin, clothing, hair and other surfaces. It also stops the
metallic compounds from leading to contamination or discoloration, which
trace amounts of iron can do, according to Paul Begoun, author of "The
Original Beauty Bible." For cosmetics, this commonly used stabilizer prevents changes to the
consistency, odor and texture of cosmetics products thanks to its
function as a chelating agent, or ability to bind with trace elements
like minerals, according to Begoun.
What is Sodium gluconate? Sodium gluconate is the sodium salt
of gluconic acid, produced by fermentation of glucose. It is a
white to tan, granular to fine, crystalline powder, very soluble
in water. Non corrosive, non toxic and readily biodegradable (98%
after 2 days), sodium gluconate is more and more appreciated as
chelating agent.
